Hi! I'm Athena, a high school student in Miami who's passionate about baking and science! My first love has always been chemistry, I adore understanding how molecules interact, how reactions happen, and why tiny changes can lead to big differences. Baking became my way to bring that curiosity to the kitchen.
This site is where I combine the two: each recipe is not just about making something sweet, but also about exploring the science behind it. From how pH affects cream cheese in red velvet cheesecake brownies to how gluten forms in dough. I'm experimenting, asking questions, and learning as I go.

Here you’ll find my weekly bakes and reflections, along with little insights into the chemistry that makes them work (or sometimes fail, which is part of the fun!) My goal is to show that baking is both an art and a science, and every recipe is a chance to learn something new.
